PENGARUH STUDI AL-QUR’AN TERHADAP PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER SANTRI DI PONDOK PESANTREN DARUSSALAM KOTO ANAU SOLOK

The increasing phenomenon of moral deviance in students seen in the millennial era is really worrying for the world of education, so one of the efforts to shape the religious character of students is through the tahfidz al-Qur'an program. This research aims to determine the implementation of the tahfidz Al-Qur'an program and the formation of the religious character of students. An important aspect of this research is the implementation of the tahfidz Al-Qur'an program and the formation of religious character which includes: Methods, stages, indicators as well as supporting and inhibiting factors for the formation of the tahfidz Al-Qur'an program internally and externally at the Darussalam Koto Anau Islamic Boarding School. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation methods. The research results show (1) The implementation of the tahfidz Al-Qur'an program is good and running smoothly; (2) The formation of the religious character of students is said to be good by applying methods of example, habituation, advice and methods of reward and punishment. The stages are the stages of knowledge, awareness, practice, habituation and maintaining religious character values. Indicators for the formation of religious character include: akhlakul karimah, polite speech, congregational prayers, dhuha prayers, praying before and after learning, saying greetings when meeting, morning imtaq activities and reading yasin and ratib on Friday nights. Internal supporting factors: health, intelligence and motivation. External factors: cooperation of all parties, competent tahfidz teachers, time management, government response, internal inhibiting factors: laziness, impatience, despair, difficulty managing time and often forgetting. External factors: economic capabilities and material density.

Since it gives the social, political, and cultural background for the Qur'anic verses, understanding this idea is crucial to understanding them. One efficient method for thoroughly exploring and comprehending subjects, particularly those pertaining to the study of concepts like Asbabun Nuzul, is to employ a qualitative research approach employing the library research method. The study's findings demonstrate that both classical and modern academics value the idea of Asbabun Nuzul, which explains the rationale for the Qur'anic verses' revelation. Classical scholars like Ibn Kathir and Al-Tabari stress how crucial it is to comprehend the historical background in order to correctly interpret the scriptures. Sayyid Qutb and Fazlur Rahman, two modern scholars, agree that Asbabun Nuzul is significant, but they also stress that the lessons of the Qur'an are still applicable in today's world. All things considered, Asbabun Nuzul aids in accurately and practically comprehending passages in both historical and modern situations.

This article discusses the influence of Q.S Al-Maidah verse 67 on the development of da'wah in Indonesia. This verse is often referred to as an order to the Prophet Muhammad to convey the message perfectly, without fear, despite threats or risks. In the context of da'wah in Indonesia, this verse is an inspiration for preachers to continue to convey the teachings of Islam comprehensively, despite facing social and cultural challenges. This article also elaborates on the opinions of several scholars regarding the meaning of this verse and its relevance to the development of da'wah in the modern era. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, the article draws on contemporary literature and analyses of related hadith to understand how the message of this verse affects the dynamics of da'wah in Indonesia.

This research aims to describe literacy in the Qur'an: Building a Scientific Tradition and Revelation-Based Civilization. This research method uses library research methods, a type of research that involves the use of resources found in libraries such as books, journals, articles and databases. , to gather information on a specific topic. Literacy in the Al-Quran, especially in Surah Al-Alaq verses 1-5, Al-Isra verse 14, Al-Baqarah verse 44, and At-Taubah verse 122. This analysis shows that the Al-Quran encourages humans to seek knowledge and understanding. through various aspects of literacy. Surah Al-Alaq verses 1-5 emphasize the importance of reading and writing as the main foundation in achieving knowledge and faith. Al-Isra verse 14 teaches the importance of seeking knowledge anywhere and from anyone, even from younger people. Al-Baqarah verse 44 teaches that seeking knowledge aims to increase faith and devotion to Allah SWT. Finally, At-Taubah verse 122 emphasizes the importance of seeking knowledge to distinguish between truth and falsehood. That literacy in Islam is not just about reading and writing, but also about understanding the meaning and values contained therein. The Koran encourages humans to think, reflect and use reason to understand His revelation.

This abstract aims to explain the potentials contained in the verses of thr Qur’an that inspired and motivate human self-developemnt. The problem raised is how the potential contained in surah An-Nahl verse 78 which discusses the physical and mental development of humans starting from the womb, with a focus on basic abilities such as hearing, sight and reason, all of which are intended to increase human awareness and gratitude for the grace of Allah, as well as the potential contained in surah Asy-Syams verses 8-10 whish will give birth to good and behavior in each individual, according to how they use inspiration from Allah’s prohibiton to approach zina, this prohibition functions as a preventive measure to protect the honor of individuals and families, and prevent wider social damage. This study uses a library research method with a descriptive approach, as well as data collection techniques through documentation. The results of the analysis show that the Qur’an reminds us of Allah’s blessings and the importance of using them wisely. These verses also teach noble and responsible behavior, and encourage awareness to maintain self-honor and family. By understanding the potential contained their abilities and live a more meaningful life. This study is expected to provide a positive contribution in understanding the moral and spiritual values contained in the Qur’an as a guide in developing self-potential.

The article discusses the Qur’an, as the holy book of Muslims, not only has linguistic an spritual miracles, but also contains scientific miracles that are relevant to the development of modern science. I’jaz Al-Qur’an refers to the miracle of the language and structure of the Qur’anic text that cannot be imitated by anyone, while the miracles of the Qur’an include extraordinary aspects that prove the truth of divine revelation. This article aims to examine the relationship between I’jaz and the miracles of the Qur’an, especially in the context of modern science. This study includes a review of various verses of the Qur’an related to natural phenomena, biology, astronomy, and physics. This article shows that the miracles of the Qur’an are not only in the spritual and linguistic dimensions, but are also scientifically proven in the context of modern times. This study reveals that the miracles of the Qur’an have infinite dimensions, which continuously challenge human understanding of the universe and provide stronger evidence of the truth of divine revelation.

This study aims to examine the concept of self healing in the Qur'an and how the teachings of
the Qur'an can be used as a tool for self-recovery. Self healing, or self-recovery, is an approach
that helps individuals manage emotions and improve mental and spiritual well-being without
external intervention. Through thematic tafsir (maudu’i) analysis of verses related to healing,
this study explores the importance of faith, patience, gratitude, and worship in the self healing
process. The results of the study show that the Qur'an provides comprehensive guidance for
achieving self healing through strong faith, prayer and worship, resilience in facing life's
challenges, and gratitude. These teachings not only provide spiritual support but also help
individuals cope with stress and improve overall quality of life. This research contributes to a
deeper understanding of the integration of psychological and spiritual approaches in self
healing, and provides practical insights for individuals and health practitioners seeking
alternative methods for enhancing well-being.

The Ikhtifalan tradition in Kampung Panggang, Selapajang Village, Cisoka District, Tangerang Regency, Banten, is one of the cultural activities still preserved by the local community. Ikhtifalan, held annually, primarily serves as a form of gratitude and respect for the teachings of Islam, particularly in terms of Quranic education. This event involves various segments of the community, from children to adults, featuring a variety of activities such as Quran recitation, collective prayers, and cultural celebrations. In addition to being a form of religious practice, this tradition also serves as a means of strengthening social ties among residents and maintaining community solidarity. During the event, the community gathers to share happiness and blessings, while also reminiscing about the long-standing traditions. The Ikhtifalan tradition also provides an opportunity for the younger generation to become more familiar with religious teachings through the recitation of Quranic verses. This study aims to analyze the implementation, meaning, and social impact of the Ikhtifalan tradition in Kampung Panggang, highlighting the importance of this event in strengthening social bonds, preserving cultural diversity, and maintaining local traditions amidst the rapid modernization. This activity has become an integral part of community life, reflecting the richness of culture and strong religiosity.

In demanding science should not done at will so as to underestimate the process. Because, there are important stages that must be passed by muslims in the process so as not to get lost. Findings from this study as stated in essence from QS. Al-Isra verse 36 are that every muslim must do charity and speak based on science, probihited from taqlid to someone, probihited from fanatics based on lust and must realized that hearing, vision and heart are selections tools in the process of demanding science and all these tools wil be held accountable before Allah. The corelationin surah An-nur verse 24 and surah Yassin verse 65 explain that on the day of judgment their thongue , hands, and feet will be witnesses of what they have done during their life on eart. And it is also explained in surah Yassin verse 65 that on the day of resurrection there will be body parts that will bear witness to one’s actions while in this world. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence resulting from Al-Qur'an education Surah Al-Isro verse 36, An-nur verse 24 and Yassin verse 65 on students in studying. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative in the form of written and verbal data. Researchers explain, describe and group data objectively with the aim of describing existing data, then research around the themes raised in a comprehensive, structured and objective manner. The results of this research illustrate that there is an influence from Al-Qur'an education Surah Al-Isro verse 36, An-nur verse 24 and Yassin verse 65 on students in studying.

Honing talents and potential for goodness is an important process in individual self-development. In this context, talent is defined as a natural ability that a person has, while good potential refers to the capacity to contribute positively to society. This research aims to explore effective methods in identifying and developing talents and potential for goodness, including education, guidance and social experiences. The results show that a supportive environment, proper training, and intrinsic motivation play a major role in forming individuals who are not only successful in their fields, but are also committed to making a positive impact. Thus, honing talents and potential for goodness can create a more productive and caring generation, contributing to social progress and collective prosperity.

This paper aims to explore the building of Optimistic and Patient mentality in the Qur'an which is important to study the meaning and significance of Building an optimistic and patient mentality is the most important thing in the elements to increase resilience for oneself and Spiritual well-being. The Qur'an emphasizes that the importance of these two attitudes is part of the guidance of life's journey and a form of obedience to Allah. In this conceptual study, it is found in Q.S Az-Zumar: 53, Allah commands his servants not to despair and have a strong mentality, and always provides a foundation of optimism and patience to be patient in all the problems we face so that humans always hope for His forgiveness and goodness. The purpose of this study is to foster optimism in a person who is guided. Grouping based on an approach that focuses on optimistic value assessment. Included in the interpretation of Q.S Al-Baqarah: 155 teaches that Allah does not burden someone beyond their abilities and has a mentality that can foster optimism and patience. Q.S. Al-Balad: 8, emphasizes that humans are created to face difficulties as part of their natural life, so they need patience in every process. This study aims to explore the meaning between optimism and patience in building a mentality according to the perspective of the Qur'an which teaches that with optimism and patience and still holding on to Allah's promise.

TRANSFORMASI METODE PENULISAN HADIS PASCA ABAD KE-4 (Upaya Membangun Kembali Warisan Ilmu dengan Takhrij dan Rijlul Hadis)

Since the fourth century Hijri, the writing of hadith books underwent a significant transformation. Scholars no longer travelled long distances to collect traditions but instead focused on systematising and verifying existing traditions. They compiled books based on certain themes and checked the sanad and matan of the traditions, as seen in Mustakhraj by Abū Nu'aim and Rijālul Hadith by al-Jurjānī. These efforts reflect an attempt to preserve and disseminate hadith knowledge in a more structured manner. This study aims to answer two problems: 1). What was the method and writing of hadith books after the 4th century. 2). What are the definitions of takhrij and rijālul hadith books and examples of both books? This study uses a library research approach with a qualitative descriptive method. A literature review was conducted on classical books and primary sources to analyse the way post-4th century scholars organised and verified hadith. As well as other literature related to this study. The results showed that: 1. post-4th century scholars focused more on the method of preserving hadith by emphasising takhrij and rijul hadith. 2. takhrij serves to verify the sanad and matan of the hadith while rijlul hadis deals with the analysis of the narrators.

This study aims to analyze the concept of nasikh mansukh and its implications in Islamic law, particularly in the context of halal certification. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the study identifies differing opinions among scholars regarding the definition of nasakh. Some scholars define it as the annulment of the application of previous law, the prevention of the continuation of earlier law, or the expiration of the validity of the initial command. Despite the differing definitions, the impact remains the same: the annulled law is no longer applicable. In the context of halal certification, the concept of nasikh mansukh demonstrates the flexibility of Islamic law, allowing for the adjustment of rules to maintain public benefit, both in terms of fulfilling Sharia principles and addressing modern societal needs. This concept reflects how Islamic law is gradually prescribed to ensure its relevance, public welfare, and societal tranquility are consistently preserved.

Education is the main capital that must be owned by every human being. Education will elevate humans and humble other humans, humans will be considered valuable if they have an education that is useful for others. Lifelong learning is continuous and continuous learning (continuinglearning) from the cradle to the end of life, in line with the phases of development in humans. Because each phase of development in each individual must be passed by learning in order to fulfill the tasks of development, then learning begins from childhood to adulthood and even until the end of his life.The period of education is very long, many people think that education takes place only at school, but in reality education lasts a lifetime through experiences lived in his life. In the world of Islamic education, it is known as lifelong education or lifelong education. This shows that education takes place indefinitely, starting from birth until we die. So it is clear that lifelong education is very true in our lives. Because if it is out of date, it is easy to be fooled by others. That's why lifelong learning is so important. In addition, Islam also teaches to study His words, both qouliyah, namely verses on the Mushaf Al-Qur'an, as well as kauniyah verses or events in the surrounding nature. So departing from this background, the author is moved to find out what kind of lifelong education values are taught in the Quran surah Ali Imran verse 190. In addition, the author also wants to prove that lifelong education is not only more discussed by western thinkers. To actualize the above problems, it takes the ability and quality of humans, namely the quality of faith and piety, then the quality of science and technology to be able to process and function the potential given by ALLAH SWT to humans.

The teachings of Sufism in Islam are not only a discussion about a person's approach to God, but are part of the Islamic scientific treasury in general. As is already known, Sufism is a method or way to get closer to the Khaliq. namely by applying the concepts contained in the teachings of Sufism. The methods in Sufism direct humans to be as close as possible to Allah Ta'ala. The existence of the characteristic of muroqobah in humans can encourage a person to carry out activities with full awareness, he knows what he is doing and he knows what consequences will occur if he does it, so that he carries out activities not haphazardly and carefully, every activity he has thought about beforehand. When viewed in the context of morals, what is meant by muroqobah is a good and commendable mental attitude by feeling that he is always under Allah's surveillance and attention or is said to be under Allah's supervision because Allah is always with him wherever and whenever.

HUBUNGAN MU’TAZILAH DENGAN KALAM DAN PERANNYA DALAM SEJARAH PEMIKIRAN ISLAM

Mu'tazilah is one of the theological schools in Islam that emerged in the 8th century AD. This school is known for its emphasis on rationality and logic in understanding religious teachings. The relationship of Mu'tazilah to kalam, which is the science of theological argumentation, is very significant, because Mu'tazilah played a pioneering role in the development of the kalam method. They attempted to explain and defend Islamic beliefs through rational argumentation, touching on issues such as God's justice, His attributes, and human freedom. The role of Mu'tazilah in the history of Islamic thought cannot be separated from their contribution in forming philosophical and theological dialogue. They attempted to bridge the gap between revelation and reason, emphasizing that human reason can be used to understand religious truths. In this context, Mu'tazilah developed important concepts such as tawhid (the oneness of God), adalat (God's justice), and al-wa'd wa al-wa'id (promise and threat). Although this school declined in influence after the 10th century, Mu'tazilite thought continued to have a profound impact on the Islamic intellectual tradition and influenced many subsequent theological schools. Thus, the Mu'tazilites are not only an important part of the history of Islamic theology, but also show how rationality can interact with faith in a spiritual context.

This article examines the recontextualization of Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotics in understanding the concept of light as guidance, focusing on the analysis of QS. An-Nur: 35. The symbol of "light" in this verse is understood as a complex metaphor symbolizing divine guidance (hidayah), spiritual presence, and inner enlightenment. This study employs Saussure's concept of signs, with the signifier as the physical representation and the signified as the spiritual meaning. In the religious context, the symbol of light represents the relationship between Allah and humanity through moral guidance, purification of the soul, and the dissemination of faith. The research also explores how the symbol of light is recontextualized in Islamic culture through traditions, art, and education, as well as its relevance in contemporary life, such as Islamic psychology and intercultural dialogue. This article offers a profound new perspective on understanding the physical and spiritual dimensions of light as a sign of divine wisdom.
